Privacy Policy

Map Your OS ("we", "us") operates mapyouros.com and its assessment products. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It is a general policy and not legal advice.

Information we collect

When you take an assessment we collect the name and email you provide and your answers to the tests, which we score to produce your report. When you buy, our payment provider collects your payment details (we never see or store your full card number). We also collect basic technical data (device, browser, approximate location) and, if you arrive from an ad, standard advertising analytics.

If you take an assessment as a candidate for a role, we also store the CV you upload and the text we extract from it, so the employer's report can take your experience into account. You can ask us to delete both at any time by emailing the support address below.

How we use it

To deliver your assessment and report, email you your secure access link and support messages, process your purchase, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with providers who help us run the service: hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel), AI report generation (OpenAI), payments (Gumroad, as merchant of record), transactional email (Resend), and advertising and analytics (Meta). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to run the site and, on our marketing pages, the Meta Pixel to measure and optimize ads. You can control cookies in your browser and ad personalization in your Meta settings.

Retention and security

We keep your assessment data for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal reasons, then delete or anonymize it. Access links are stored only as one-way hashes. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but no method is perfectly secure.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@mapyouros.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

The service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
